The Story

Patient Stories helps those dealing with chronic or terminal illnesses by providing stories, information and people's experiences as a resource to view a better future; modify a medical prognosis. The book and online cases discuss medical treatments and provide alternative treatment methods, coping mechanisms and true outcomes. Through real-life situations, Patient Stories puts the decision-making power back into the hands of the individual in the way of people helping people.

Patient Stories is about offering real-world outcomes through sharing your own and loved ones' stories. We recognize that not everyone responds in the same way to treatments, nor do diseases manifest uniformly from one individual to the next; therefore, there cannot be one solution that works for everyone. Even so, there is much to be said for seemingly minor lifestyle changes and cognitive adjustments that may dramatically impact the outcome of an illness.
